For the reception, however, she chose a mini dress in Italian silk crepe always lily white and customized with a more traditional sweetheart neckline bodice, combined with a short tulle skirt with floral details and embroidery (in detail: a pair of hand-sewn birds to symbolize the couple, plus three others that represented the children ). The dress was paired with a short veil, also featuring floral embroidery and a white bow. Last but non least, on her feet a pair of cowboy boots with killer heels from the Le Silla brand.
It is not the first time that the pop star wears Vera Wang beautifully. Gwen Stefani chose a creation bridal also of the American maison to collect the award as a Fashion Icon in 2019: a white strapless dress with a big black bow, velvet gloves, fishnet stockings and shorts. Embroidered on the train of the dress were the words Fashion Icon in gothic font.
Without forgetting then the wedding dress of the celeb’s first wedding, that custom John Galliano which is now part of the history of costume.
