The actress Gwyneth Paltrow 52, and the singer Chris Martin 47, got together last Saturday (30) to see their daughter, Apple Martin make a glamorous debut at a debutante ball in Paris, France.
Apple, 20, attended the Le Bal des Débutantes 2024 an exclusive annual event that “introduces women from prominent families to society” and aims to raise money for charities.
Moses Martin Apple’s brother, and Paltrow’s mother, the actress Blythe Danner were also present at the event, held at the Shangri-La Hotel, in the City of Light.
The Goop founder wrote on her Instagram page on Sunday (1st) that the weekend of festivities was “special”.
Paltrow posted a photo with her son, mother and Chris Martin from the event. In another photo, Paltrow posed with her daughter, who wore a custom-made strapless blue dress by Valentino that took 750 hours to make, according to Vogue.
Apple Martin was also seen dancing with her father in a video posted on social media.
Paltrow and Chris Martin were married from 2003 to 2014. The announcement of their separation drew attention for using the phrase “conscious uncoupling” (in literal translation).
Le Bal des Débutantes originates from an 18th century tradition in which young women are introduced into society. A traditional version of the event took place in France between 1957 and 1973, returning to Paris in a modern form in 1994, according to the ball’s website.
Other celebrities including Lily Collins , Ava Phillippe (daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe ) and Tallullah and Scout Willis (daughters of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore ), among many others, have already participated in Le Bal.
