A gym teacher from São Gonçalo, metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, was arrested on Tuesday (17) for photographing and filming, without authorization, female students at the establishment while they were exercising.
According to delegate Luís Maurício Armond, who is investigating the case, several students contacted the police claiming to have been alerted, through a profile on a social network, that images of them at the gym were being used and distributed in groups containing erotic content. .
The crimes
The women were secretly photographed and filmed by instructor Leonardo Azevedo da Costa, 34, as he sexualized the positions performed during physical activities.
Furthermore, the police chief revealed that Leonardo also threw sperm at the students without them noticing, recording these acts for dissemination on social media and, in some cases, even selling this content.
According to the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police, the suspect filmed and photographed the students’ private parts specifically. Teenagers would also have been victims of the instructor.
Resignation
In a statement, the Total Box gym, the place where Leonardo worked and committed the crimes, informed that he has no longer been part of the staff since October 10th and that the company does not condone any form of harassment.
Following the complaints, a search warrant was issued by the Civil Police. At Leonardo’s residence, in addition to the filming, records of child pornography were also found on electronic devices, which resulted in his arrest in the act.
