Haaretz call: “Help, save Israel from Netanyahu – don’t bombard it like Serbia but”

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz appealed to the international community by calling on the creation of a global coalition, such as the one in Yugoslavia, Iraq or Afghanistan, to rid Israel from Benjamin Netanyahu. Describing a “criminal gang” of the Israeli government, columnist Uri Misgav called on worldwide action, but clarified that he would not want to see his country dissolved. In particular, he called for a peaceful rather than armed intervention, which would lead to the fragmentation of the Israeli state, the emergence of new states and the creation of new passions. In an article entitled “An Emergency Appeal to the World: Save Israel from its leaders”, the Israeli columnist wrote: “I believe (his view) that he represents most of the liberal, democratic world in Israel.
