Sites-fakes are created to steal crypto assets at the moment when users authorize the transaction. Fraudsters were activated in connection with a recent incident when the proposal of Leash tokens unexpectedly increased by 10%. After discussions with developers and tokens holders, the project team promised to release Leash V2 on a new proven contract. However, the new version of token is still in development.
The Shiba Inu team urged not to trust reports on the migration of Leash V2 tokens – this is an organized fraudulent campaign designed to mislead gullible people. The developers assured that any proposal to tie wallets or sign documents on migration not on official platforms is fraud.
Security experts warned that on the basis of Solana there are no legitimate leash tokens. Any other versions of Leash, not mentioned on the official website of Shiba Inu, are fraudulent. Investors are advised to refrain from the transition on suspicious links or the execution of someone’s instructions, especially if the senders of messages are called to act quickly.
Previously, the developer of the Shiba Inu crypto project Kaal Dhairya said that the hackers began to advertise fake Treat tokens on SOLANA and BASE blockchains. Treat official tokens are launched only in the Ethereum network.
