A mother has admitted she was so desperate to have a child she pursued ‘celebrity’ sperm donor Kyle Gordy after failed attempts at sperm bank. The 30-year-old had a partner at the time, who moved in with her and they were trying to make out family but the pair of he could not conceive. After the breakup, Lakushyna still longed for a child, but the method “cup and syringe” in sperm banks was not successful. So he turned to the next best thing: sleeping with one sperm donor.

Meeting him Gordy on Instagram – who has helped them to be born 53 children around the world, despite the fact that it was just 31 years old – she knew he was a perfect man for her ‘needs’. He noticed that the children born from his sperm were “beautiful”, so he decided to write to him. “I was a bit worried at first, as I wanted to him get to know betterbut we talked for a long time and I liked it a lot,” she says New York Post. “However, one of my main questions, to ‘seal’ the deal, was whether my child could learn about him”. Gordy assured her that “of course” she could be in the child’s life, which calmed her worries as a potential new mom, eventually deciding to meet with the “famous” sperm donor in Miami.

“I was desperate for one positive resultso instead of using a cup and syringe, we chose to follow her traditional routeshe said, adding: “I was nervous at first, but after meeting Kyle and talking to him, I felt very comfortable and it was a positive experience». THE … unusual practice made things quick and easy for Lakushyna, who was paying more than $3,000 per attempt to get pregnant through the sperm bank.

“Unfortunately, not being able to stay pregnant it totally shocked me because I had prayed so hard to have a baby,” the new mom said of her multiple failed attempts through traditional sperm donation. “I cried a lot and it affected me financially. The result I fell to depression and there was no way out.”

“We did it again and again then we chatted for a few hours, while resting my hips on some pillows, as this was meant to help the process,” she said. “He’s such a funny guy, and while I wasn’t sure I was going to get pregnant [στο τέλος], I felt so confident with him, as he knew exactly what he was doing.” In the end, their way paid off – Lakushyna gave birth to a healthy son, David Matthew, in February. “It was enjoyable from start to finish and it was absolute pleasure to meet him“, he said.

Gordy told Jam Press that the women they’re just “not interested” in dating him, so she turned to sperm donation as his way of contributing to population of the Earth.

“The joy I get from it is the best feeling in the world”, Gordy had told Jam Press, stressing that he has no relationship with children unless asked. “I regularly get pictures of the kids, so it’s great to know they’re doing well.”

Exactly one week after the unlikely couple’s efforts, Lakushyna took a pregnancy test and the result was positive.

“I can’t put into words the feeling I felt as I experienced new sensations in my stomach – but I kept it a secret from everyone but Kyle,” she said, explaining how happy she was. “It was really a shock to me and I tried to hold back, despite some nerves, after experiencing the threat of a miscarriage twice.”

After revealing she was expecting to her family – who surprisingly didn’t “ask questions” – she closed a trip to Ukraine in March, not knowing what horrors were to follow.

Fortunately for the mother-to-be, her doctors forbade her to board on her flight, informing her that she was too far away and, in fact, about to give birth. “I remember hugging him and crying.”

While she was living the ultimate happiness as her dream of becoming a mother came true, her family back in Ukraine was about to experience a devastating war.

“I woke up after the birth and saw my phone was empty, no congratulations, so I asked my grandmother and long story short, she said they don’t have a connection,” she recalls. “I used to have mixed emotions, incredibly happy but with so much pain, because I didn’t understand how many problems they had.” While her baby is sleeping, she was trying to call her family. “It’s a terrible feeling when you know your family is in danger and you don’t know if they survived,” she said, thankful she’s not alone. “David helped me through it all: I hugged and kissed him all the time, saying that everything would be fine”, he added. “I hope that one day I will go to Ukraine with David and I’ll be with my family – but for now, I’m grateful to Kyle for making the my dreams come true».
