The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, will make his first international trip as head of the post next week. According to the dispatch published in an extra edition of the Official Diary of the Union On Wednesday (11) the minister will participate in commitments related to the World Economic Forum, in Davos, Switzerland. The trip is scheduled for the period from January 15th to 19th.
The Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, Marina Silva, will also participate in the Forum. Her trip, also authorized in an order in the Official Gazette, is scheduled for the period from January 14th to 20th.
Agriculture
The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, is also scheduled to travel abroad next week, from January 19th to 23rd.
The minister will go to Berlin, Germany, to participate in a meeting of agriculture ministers within the scope of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2023 event. In addition, according to the dispatch in the DOU, Fávaro will have a meeting with authority from the area of Agriculture in Germany, “ with a view to deepening bilateral relations and advancing the trade agenda and sanitary and phytosanitary matters in both countries”.
