HAIRDRUCCHIERS REFORMS: EXAMINATION TRADE, NEW PROFESSIONAL PROFESSIONAL FIGHTS AND MORE SANCTIONS. The hypotheses against the abuse of profession

The world of aesthetics and hairdressers starts to the reform according to a bill filed by Senator Renato Ancorotti of Fratelli d’Italia. The changes are aligned with change in the sector in the last twenty years.

The text of 13 articles is aimed at making changes to the law of 4 January 1990, n. 1, containing “Discipline of aesthetic activity” and to the law of 17 August 2005, n. 174, in the matter of the discipline of the activity of hairstyle, as well as measures for the prevention of unauthorism.

The new professional figures

There are also two professional figures who support the beautician in professional salons: theonicotechnical specialized in the treatment and reconstruction of the nails, the technical make -up artist which deals with eyelash and eyebrows, and among these are included the make-up artists and experts of extensions and lamination. For both roles they are planned training courses regional with minimum duration of 600 hours.

To these is added, After 3 years of experience that gives access to a Specialization course in oncological aesthetica new figure dedicated to the aesthetic assistance of patients under treatment or oncological post-therapy.

The reform of the training of specialists in the sector

A qualification exam at the end of the training course. The draft includes two ways of access to the qualification, both the attendance of a Biennial and three -year course of 900 hours both the full -time qualified activity for 1 year at a beautician company. Fines for those who have no qualification

When the DDL of Senator Renato Ancorotti will enter into force
