Half of Russians do not post photos of their partners. The researchers found out why

More than half of Russians do not publish photos with their soul mates on social networks. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Kaspersky Lab.

As it turned out, 55% of the Russians who took part in the survey do not share photos with their lovers on the Web. The vast majority of them, namely 62%, said they simply did not want to advertise their personal lives. 12% of respondents do not like how they turned out in joint photos, and 11% of users are against the publication of such shots by a partner. Among Russian users there are also those who are afraid of the evil eye from a photo – according to the results of a survey by Kaspersky Lab, about 7% of them.

Many Russians refrain from posting pictures on social networks not only with their soul mates, but also with their children, and if they post a photo of their child, they cover their faces with a sticker. Every 12th Russian does this.

As noted in Kaspersky Lab, in some cases, photos posted on social networks can be used by intruders and ill-wishers. That is why experts advise before publishing a new picture to think about whether it can be harmful and not to share frames on social networks if you have not asked permission from those who are captured in the photo.
