‘Half of the Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip are dead’, says Netanyahu

That his country’s armed forces killed about half of the unit commanders of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas during air and ground operations conducted in Gaza Strip since October 7, the Israeli Prime Minister assured Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday (5/12).

The Israeli military makes the assumption that Hamas has a total of 24 units fighting in Gaza, it speaks of “battalions”, with about 1,000 members each.

Soon, there won’t be a single one of these units capable of threatening it Israel, assured for his part Defense Minister Yoav Galand, who spoke at the same press conference as Prime Minister Netanyahu. According to him, Hamas is gradually losing control over the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu fires against international human rights organizations and the UN

“We will not forget, nor will we forgive,” said Mr. Netanyahu, two months after the Israel/Hamas war erupted in an unprecedented attack by militants of the Palestinian Islamist movement in southern sectors of Israeli territory on October 7.

The Israeli military says it has been operating in the southern Gaza Strip since yesterday, particularly in the area’s largest city, Khan Younis.

Benjamin Netanyahu, as reported by the Athens News Agency citing dpa, has also succeeded against international human rights defense organizations and the UN because, according to him, they do not report the sexual crimes committed by members of Hamas against women. Earlier yesterday, during a meeting with hostages released during the recent truce and their relatives, the Israeli prime minister told reporters that he had heard, “just like them,” gruesome accounts of rape.
