Hamas accuses Israel of 'dangerous escalation' – Says it wants negotiations to continue

A senior official from Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist group that rules Rafah, told Reuters the order to evacuate Rafah was a “dangerous escalation that will have consequences.” “The American administration, along with the occupation forces, bear the responsibility for this terrorism,” official Sami Abu Zohri told Reuters news agency, referring to Israel's alliance with Washington.
