Hamas accuses Netanyahu of blocking Gaza truce deal

The Palestinian group Hamas today accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of “obstructing” a Gaza truce deal after the latest round of negotiations concluded on Friday in Doha, Qatar. “We hold Benjamin Netanyahu fully responsible for the failure of the mediators’ efforts because he blocked an agreement and (we hold him responsible) for the lives of the hostages, who are in the same danger as our own people” as shelling continues in the Palestinian enclave , Hamas said in a statement.
