Hamas attacks in Israel over the weekend left at least 10 Latin Americans dead and another 25 missing, according to a survey by the CNN with their respective governments.
Brazilian authorities confirmed the death of Ranani Nidejelski Glazer. He had been missing since Saturday (7), when the Islamic group Hamas, considered terrorist by the United States and the European Union, attacked an electronic music festival where he was attending with his girlfriend, Rafaela Treistman.
The couple took refuge in a nearby bunker with other festival attendees when “gas bombs” began to be thrown inside the shelter. Glazer even posted a video from inside the bunker on social media before he died.

Treistman reported in an exclusive interview with CNN moments of panic. “There were several injured and dead inside the bunker. We had no way to leave, we tried to call the police, in short, literally defending ourselves with the bodies of the people who died,” she said.
She said she lost sight of her boyfriend because the gas left her disoriented and made her “pass out a lot.”
“I don’t really remember things. I know that at one point he was with me, we were in a corner, hugging, and at another time he was no longer there. I was so disoriented that I asked a girl next to me ‘Ranani, is that you?’. And she didn’t respond,” she says.
Treistman and another friend were rescued by police, she said, but they were unable to find Glazer.
In addition to Glazer, Bruna Valeanu’s family also confirmed, this Tuesday (10), the death of the young Brazilian. She was also participating in the electronic music festival and had been missing since the attack.
According to Bruna’s sister, Florica Valeanu, the Israeli Army went to her house this Tuesday and reported that Bruna’s body had been found.

There is still a Brazilian missing, Karla Stelzer, 41, from Rio de Janeiro, was also at the festival that was attacked by Hamas.
The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced, this Tuesday morning (10), that Brando Flores died and three other Peruvian citizens were missing. Flores belonged to the military reserve force in Israel, Peruvian ambassador Manuel Cacho-Sousa told local media.
Additionally, seven Argentines died and fifteen are missing, according to an update made on Monday night (9) by the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
