The popular tap-and-go game Hamster Kombat now has a mini-puzzle game that introduces a new element: keys.

Hamster Kombat Update
The mini-game in “hamster” resembles a classic puzzle game, where the player needs to move objects in a limited space in a certain order. Here, these objects are vertical and horizontal candlestick indicators.
However, it’s not as simple as it may seem. The red vertical ones only move up and down, and the green horizontal ones only move left and right. In addition, you only have 30 seconds to get the golden key out of the exit.

If the player fails to solve the puzzle, they will have to wait for an hour and a half until another attempt opens. In general, the puzzle is updated every day at 23:00 Moscow time.
Many influencers and content creators have already started creating videos with solutions to each puzzle. They can be found on YouTube or X (formerly Twitter).
What to do with keys in Hamster Kombat
Keys are a new element in the “battle of hamsters”, offering not only to accumulate in-game coins, but also to earn another valuable object. So far, they have no functional purpose. However, the developers are already hinting at their future value.

Skins have also appeared in the game. Their prices range from 2.5 million to 200 billion in-game coins. To buy the most expensive skins, you need to reach the Lord level. You can get to it if you accumulate 1 billion in-game tokens.
It is not yet clear what exactly the new hamster icons are for. Probably, in the future, players will be able to get additional bonuses for purchasing a certain skin. Similar mechanics were used in another popular clicker game Notcoin – users were given rewards for purchasing skins when listing the NOT token.
While Hamster Kombat developers are rolling out updates and players are waiting for the launch of the HMSTR token, Russian MPs are proposing to ban the popular mini-game on Telegram. At the end of last week, Aksakov said that the “hamster” is too harmful to Russian citizens.
