“Handbook of Murder for Good Girls” gets 1st trailer on Netflix

The first trailer for the series “Murder Handbook for Good Girls” was released by Netflix this Wednesday (26). The production is based on the book of the same name by holly jackson released in 2022 and premieres on the streaming platform on August 1st of this year.

The series will star Emma Myers (“Wandinha”) and Zain Iqbal (“All Crazy Random”) and takes place five years after the murder of a 17-year-old girl in a quiet English town. In the plot, a student is determined to discover the truth and find the real killer.

In the synopsis of the original work, the girl decides to analyze the crime in her graduation project and question some points in the official version. But when her research reveals terrifying secrets, she realizes that getting closer to the truth could cost her her life.

During the investigation, she begins to question whether she is still a good girl after all, since she is willing to do anything to do her homework, protect those she loves and rewrite the history of her city.

Anna Maxwell Martin (“Philomena”), Gary Beadle (“In the Heart of the Sea”) and Mathew Baynton (“Wonka”) are other cast members.
