Haval has started selling the new Haval Shenshou crossover at home in China. Shenshou means “mythical beast” in Chinese. The crossover is aimed at a young audience living in big cities.
It has already been dubbed the most original crossover Great Wall Motors, which includes the Haval division. The price of new items ranges from 20.6 to 26.4 thousand dollars, depending on the configuration, while the car should enter the world market as early as next year, that is, it may well appear in Russia, where the brand is officially represented.
Haval Shenshou got modern Tesla-style door handles that slide out when the driver approaches the car. Haval Shenshou received five seats, and its dimensions are 4780 x 1890 x 1675 mm with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. It turned out to be larger and more interesting than the brand’s previously released crossovers.
Haval Shenshou 2022 has a large grille and narrow LED headlights. The interior of Haval Shenshou is also very nice. Here the manufacturer has taken a noticeable step forward. The steering wheel has become a three-spoke, the instrument panel is digital, it received a 12.3-inch screen. In the center is a 14.6-inch screen for the infotainment system. There is also a HUD-display with a projection on the windshield.
Shenshou is available with two turbocharged engines: a 1.5-liter with 184 hp. c 275 Nm and a 2.0-liter with 224 hp. from 350 Nm. Both engines are mated to a 7-speed DCT robotic transmission. There are four-wheel drive versions. The company will later release a 1.5-liter hybrid and a 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid with up to 400 hp.
