Atnarr Tech’s YouTube channel has published a video comparing the reboot speed of smartphones running EMUI 11 and HarmonyOS 2.0.
In both cases, Huawei Mate 40 Pro smartphones were used, one of which has the final version of EMUI 11 based on the Android 11 operating system, and the second has HarmonyOS 2.0 Developer beta 3.

The HarmonyOS 2.0 smartphone rebooted faster than the EMUI 11 device, although the difference of about 3 seconds is hardly critical. In the comments to the video, users noted that the smartphone running HarmonyOS 2.0 slows down noticeably.
On June 2, Huawei will unveil the final version of the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system for smartphones, as well as a number of new devices, including the MatePad Pro 2 tablet, the Watch 3 smartwatch and the long-awaited Huawei P50 flagship phone.
The list of smartphones, tablets and smartwatches that will eventually receive HarmonyOS 2.0 can be found here.
