Athens Transport (OASA Group) announces that, after the resignation of the CEO of STASY, Mr. Nikolaos Hairetas, the Chairman of the organization, Mr. Charalambos Damaskos, will take over the duties of Managing Director.
Mr. Damaskos holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras, specializing in Transportation Works and is the President of STA.SY. and non-Executive Board Member of the company from March 2020.
He has been a special advisor to the Minister of Health for real estate management issues, in the period 2014-2015. He was Vice President of the Municipal Works Company of the Municipality of Acharnes and President of the Development Company, while in the period 2004-2011 he was Deputy Mayor of Urban Planning and Environment of Eastern Attica. From 2012-2017 he was Vice President of the Attica Regional Council and a member of the Central Council of Metropolitan Planning, as well as the Athens Organization at the Ministry of Environment.
Duties of Deputy Chairman of the Board of STA.SY., undertakes Ms. Eleni Vlachogianni, independent Non-Executive Member of the company since March 2020, following the best practices of corporate governance.
