After Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in London, many rumors about the present condition of Sussex. Whether they are now relegated to the past of the monarchy or rather represent the bright political future in the United States is not yet known. But one thing is certain: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to be talked about for a long, long time to come.
Saturday 25 June, for example, they were paparazzi in cars: they went to the $ 100 million Montecito mansion of neighbor Oprah (they live five minutes away from the conductor of the record).
The couple spent an hour in the villawhich made one think of the sources of the Daily Mail that there may be another scandal-like interview in the air, like the one that was first released after leaving as a British royal senior.
Nothing is known about the meeting, except that Prince Harry was seen driving his black Range Rover, while his wife sat in the back seat with two other passengers (it is not clear, however, if Archie or Lilibet, their two children, were in the car with their parents). Followed by the escort car, Harry and Meghan looked relaxed and at ease: he was wearing a cap with a visor and his face was partially covered by sunglasses while chatting with his wife.
Both in informal attire, the two could return to talk about themselves, 18 months after the first public revelations. In March 2021, they told Oprah that someone from the royal family at the palace was concerned about the skin color of their eldest son. There was talk of the title of prince – which the little one does not seem to be able to access before Charles becomes king – and Meghan continued to play the card of racism, leaving the interviewer surprised to say the least. During the interview Harry and Meghan complained about the security cut and the former actress of Suits she confessed to having problems with depression and thoughts about suicide, as well as being isolated from the royal family (she also said that Kate made her cry).
Those statements led the Queen to issue an official statement explaining how memories of events can change and during a rare public statement by Prince William to the press it was reiterated that the family is not racist.
During their trip to London three weeks ago, the couple celebrated the first birthday of their second child, also releasing a first official photo of the child, but otherwise they slipped away from the scene, contenting themselves with the marginal role they chose to play among the royal.
