“Harry and Meghan: Escaping The Palace”: the first photo of the new film about Sussex

The Sussex television saga continues. And so, after Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance ed Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal, Lifetime is ready to give its audience a third chapter dedicated to the story of Harry and Meghan Markle entitled Harry e Meghan: Escaping The Palace which, as you can easily guess, will talk about the reasons that led the prince and duchess to break away from the Royal House and inaugurate a new life in America, failing to fulfill the duties imposed by the Crown and forging new collaborations linked to streaming platforms such as Netflix and Apple Tv +, which will soon host the documentary made by Harry and Oprah Winfrey, The Me You Can’t See, dedicated to mental health in which prince spoke for the first time about the addiction to drugs and alcohol into which he sunk to ease the pain.

To play Harry and Meghan in this round will be actors Sydney Morton and Jordan Dean, who inherit the role from Parisa Fitz-Henry and Murray Fraser, who played Harry and Meghan in Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, and by Tiffany Smith and Charlie Field, who starred in Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal in 2019. Also appearing in the cast of the film will be Jordan Whalen and Laura Mitchell as Prince William and Kate Middleton; Steve Coulter and Maggie Sullivun in those of Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth; Melanie Nicholls-King and Bonnie Soper as Doria Ragland and Princess Diana; and Deborah Ramsay and James Dreyfus in those of Camilla Parker Bowles and a palace insider.

The film, which once again involves executive producers Merideth Finn, Michele Weiss, director Menhaj Huda and writer Scarlett Lacey, will explore the details behind the decision that led Harry and Meghan to leave their real life behind to look forward. According to the press release, “the film will describe Meghan’s growing isolation and sadness, their disappointment that the Crown did not defend them from press attacks and Harry’s fear of not being able to protect her. wife and child from the same forces that may have contributed to his mother’s premature death. ‘ Harry e Meghan: Escaping the Palace however, it will also focus on the relationship between William and Harry and between Kate and Meghan.
