In the end they returned: two years after the Megxit, Harry of England And Meghan Markle they returned to Europe together for the Invictus Games, the Games dedicated to war veterans who became disabled in service and which the prince founded in 2014.
The first images of the Dukes of Sussex come from The Hague, where the couple was invited to a dinner organized for the competitors and their families, which was also attended by the mayor of the city, Jan Van Zanen.
The most awaited, inevitably, was there Markle, on his first trip to Europe after two years of absence (Harry, on the other hand, had flown to the United Kingdom for the funeral of his grandfather Philip first and for the inauguration of the statue of his mother Diana later, in 2021).
For her return, the Duchess chose a white Valentino blazer that shouted “look at me”, but it would have been at the center of the scene with any look, thanks to a star-like pace: radiant, self-confident, full of smiles, she is always the diva of the couple. Now Harry is looking for his wife’s hand and not the other way around, as was the case in the first months of the former actress’s turbulent entry into the royal family.
Harry and Meghan Markle will be together for a few days. The Duchess, in fact, will return to California on Monday 18 April to join her children Archie and Lilibet Diana, who remained at home, while he will stay until the end of the Invictus, Friday 22 April. With the prince, for the duration of the event, there will be a Netflix troupe, which is making a documentary that is already much talked about. Beyond the gossip, however, the best thing about this trip remains the visit that the prince and his wife made to Queen Elizabeth.
The first stop on their journey, in fact, was at windsor castle, where the sovereign now resides permanently after having said goodbye to Buckingham Palace. They had not seen each other for some time and, perhaps, the meeting served to settle the latest differences. Now all the Sussexes have to do is plan a summer vacation, to finally introduce their children to their great-grandmother: this is the greatest desire of her Majesty.
