If the first trailer of their docuseries had almost softened, with the behind-the-scenes photos of their love, and intrigued, with the subtle but calm declarations that promised to finally reveal an awaited truth (theirs, of course) , the second has caused an uproar in London, and someone has already unmasked some glaring fake.

One’s fault phototaken inside the residence of theArchbishop Desmond Tutuin Cape Town, during the royal tour that saw them protagonists in 2019, together with their son Archie. In the shot you can see i Sussex taken from above, on the left of the frame a photographer at work. Harry and Meghan used the photo to denounce the press intrusion into their private lives, but the royal correspondent Robert Jobson he promptly nailed them on Twitter: “It was taken from an accredited pool inside Archbishop Tutu’s residence in Cape Town. Only three people were in the credited position. Harry and Meghan agreed on the location. I was there”.

Same thing for another photo that went around the world, the one with little Archie as the absolute protagonist, smiling between mom and dad. Jobson specified that there was no intrusion, as only three people were part of the team that followed the Sussexes inside the residence of the cleric. And he, part of that team, snapped it with his smartphone.

An exploitation that inevitably points to sensationalism, like other statements leaked so far from the trailer, which would not have been well received by the royal family, indeed. “Horror” it’s a “growing sense of anger”, these are the definitions used by an insider. To bring it back Daily Mail, always very close to the Palazzo. The first teaser, released in the midst of the Princes of Wales’ visit to the United States, was viewed as a “declaration of war”, as well as a way to have maximum visibility in terms of advertising, no indiscretions have yet been leaked on this, but it is certain that Buckingham Palace is ready to rebut every word spoken by the couple point by point.

«There is a completely united front from the king and his family regarding attempts to make peace privately with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who sadly once again have decided to air their repeated grievances to the world,” a source told the The Mirror. “If there is a need to respond to something, the response will be quick and effective”.

The series coming up Netflix, it is now clear to everyone, will mark the end of this push and pull between London and the United States. For better or for worse. And there doesn’t seem to be anything good on the horizon.
