Harry and Meghan Markle, mocked by Family Guy because they earn millions “to do no one knows what”

It was September 2020 when the prince Harry And Meghan Markle they signed with Netflix a contract worth approximately 150 million euros with which they committed themselves to produce a certain amount of TV series and documentaries. More than two years have passed since then and the Sussexes have produced very little: the docuseries Harry&Meghanin which they launched new attacks against the royal family, and the flop documentary Heart of Invictus. A “laziness” that Netflix would not like at all: the renewal of the contract, according to rumors, would be at risk. True or not, the prince and his wife, precisely because of that millionaire agreement, have just ended up in the sights of the animated series i Griffin.

In the episode broadcast last Sunday, Harry and Meghan are seen lying by the pool, he with his unmistakable red hair, she concentrated on talking on the phone. At a certain point a butler arrives and gives Harry a check saying: «Sir, your millions from Netflix for… no one knows what.” Harry replies: «Put him with the others», and invites the butler to return to a villa of monstrous dimensions. Immediately afterwards, Markle, having received an alert on her cell phone, turns to her husband: «Darling, it’s time to do our daily post on Instagram sponsored by Del Taco (Californian restaurant ed) for 250 million dollars». The clip ends with Harry appearing to express some regret at having said goodbye to his life as a royal in Great Britain: “I shouldn’t have left that made-up nonsense.”

It is not the first time that Harry and Meghan have been mocked by an American animated series. South Park a few months ago he had asphalted the dukesin an episode entitled The Worldwide Privacy Tour, for their obsession with privacy, perpetually flaunted but contradicted by continuous public outbursts against the royal family (most recently with the book bomb Spare). In short: the “honeymoon” between the Sussexes and America – the country that had welcomed them with sympathy after the farewell to the Crown – is already over. The numbers prove it – the popularity of the dukes in the States is at an all-time low – but also teased him via cartoon.
