Harry and Meghan, who could become the new Beckhams

The British tabloids bet on an entrepreneurial future of Harry and Meghan, after their estrangement from the English Royal House forced them to earn their bread. There are those who even go so far as to compare them to another British golden pair, the one formed by David and Victoria Beckhamwhich over the years has been able to monetize a usual relationship by transforming it into a successful brand.

In fact, the two Buckingham Palace exiles had already shown their willingness to take a similar path, so much so forcing the Queen to ban them from using the ‘Sussex Royal’ brand, for which Harry and Meghan had already applied for registration. Subsequently, the business acumen of Prince William’s younger brother and his not too beloved wife made itself known, with the release of the talked about Netflix series and the much talked about Harry biography. But apparently it wasn’t over yet. The Sussexes’ latest move had been the attempt to register the «Archetypes» trademark (this is the name of their podcast on Spotify, the result of an 18 million pound contract that the music giant has decided not to renew for a second season). However, the request was rejected by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, given that there is a company in Arizona that has the same name.

Then came the rumors about a possible collaboration of Meghan Markle with Dior, denied by the French fashion house. However, it is certain that something is brewing, at least according to the well-informed of the Kingdom. And it seems that the Beckhams are the reference modelmoreover always very close to the British Royal Family.

It is therefore possible that there is a market future for the Sussexes, perhaps in fashion, just as it was for the former footballer and his Spice Girl who together take care of XIX Entertainment, as well as the high fashion brand signed by Victoria . Maybe clothes signed by Harry and Meghan will come on the market, perhaps for children – given that their two children, Archie and Lilibet Diana, arouse the most empathy in the public. Or, considering the attempts already made, the Sussexes could jump right into the world of multimedia contentfrom publishing to television products.

However, there are also things to consider the popularity struggles the couple faces, project after project: if it is true that Harry and Meghan have shown that they know how to be talked about, this thing has not gone hand in hand with public approval, unlike what happens to William and Kate who, despite the ups and downs, always remain the beloved UK newlyweds.
