Mixing the magical universe of the saga “Harry Potter” with culinary skills, the actors James and Oliver Phelps best known for playing twins Fred and George Weasley (in that order) in the franchise’s films, debut a cooking competition show in November. The production will also have special appearances by the stars Warwick Davis (Filio Flitwick), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley).
James and Oliver Phelps will host “Harry Potter: Baking Wizards.” The program will be set at Leavesden Studios, in England, in real settings seen in the wizard’s films, including the Great Hall, Gringotts Bank, the Forbidden Forest and Platform 9 ¾.
In production, the competitors will be divided into teams and, each week, they will create recipes inspired by moments and themes from the saga. The objective is to impress a team of judges made up of presenters, chefs Carla Hall and Jozef Youssef and one of several special guests.
The winning team will be crowned with the prize Wizards of Baking Cup as well as being featured in a new Harry Potter cookbook.
“Harry Potter: Confectionery Wizards” premieres on November 14th on the Max streaming platform and on November 18th, at 10:15 pm, on the Discovery Home & Health channel.
