Harry Potter, the holiday film concert arrives in Milan and Rome

Chopsticks raised. The concert of fifth film of the boy wizard is about to arrive in Italy with six dates, which, like every year, represent the best gift to receive under the tree.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix debuts in Milan on 9th (at 8.30pm) and 10th December (at 3pm and 7.30pm) at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi and in Rome at the Auditorium della Conciliazione on 27th (at 8.30pm) and 28th (at 3pm and to 8.30pm).

With a live orchestra of eighty musicians the film lives on the big screen, giving the audience an immersive, all-encompassing and breathtaking experience. No longer spectators, but an integral part of the story, adults and children will experience this chapter like never before.

The Italian cinema orchestra proposes a film from the JK Rowling saga – published by Salani – every year (and then starts again from the first when it reaches the eighth and final) as an appointment during the Christmas holidays, the writer’s favorite period as well as the most spectacular at Hogwarts. From the decorations in the Great Hall to the festiveness of Hogsmeade village, in short, you can feel the joy of Christmas in the air. It has been recreated in various ways, mostly by LEGOr with his Advent Calendar and with the meticulous reconstructions of the magical world.

The epic bricks also rebuilt the entire castle, a school of wizardry and witchcraft, but also other iconic places in the saga, from Gringotts bank to Diagon Alley.

Meanwhile the publishing house has churned out The Harry Potter Almanac and the brand new book of magical recipes, as well as re-editing the saga with drawings by MinaLima, the British creative duo who created all the imagery of the films.

And, for a long Christmas marathon, it is born Sky Cinema Harry Potter, the platform’s channel that makes all films available from 23 to 31 December, including the prequels to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Obviously they will also be streamed on NOW.

In short, waiting for the TV series to start coming to life (many actors from the main saga starting from Tom Felton/Drac Malfoy would return immediately), there are still many magical events not to be missed. At the theater in London the staging of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child while themed areas are multiplying around the Universal Studios parks around the world.
Just outside London, at Leveasden Studios, where the film was shot, the richness of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London exhibitions continues to amaze, with original props and costumes. The crime was done!
