Harry, who only had 15 minutes with the queen

Just fifteen minutes. The time that Prince Harry And Meghan Markle they had with the Queen during the Jubilee is all there. No wonder the Dukes of Sussex returned to California before the festivities were even over. These are the 15 minutes in which little Lilibet was presented to the sovereign and of which there are no photos. Elizabeth herself wanted it, another sign of a distance that is increasingly evident.

The dukes of Sussex were not allowed any more moments and other meetings with the Queen. Those 15 minutes were second The Sun on Sundayabsolutely formal on Thursday 2 June, the first of the Jubilee.

The source of the newspaper reported these words: “All formal, a quick appointment, in and out.” No official comment came from Buckingham Palace. The signal, however, is clear: no balcony by choice of the Palazzo, placed far from William And Kate at the church service. And then the lack of lunch with the cousins, the Cambridge absence on the first birthday of Lilibet and returning to the United States before the celebrations were over.

Harry is already back to his Californian life, which has British corners anyway, as he returned to Friday playing polo for the team of his friend Nacho Figueras, Los Padres, at Cancha de Estrella Polo Club in Santa Barbara.

According to royal observers Harry has returned to the US strongly depressed from the trip to London and from the absolutely secluded position left to him and his wife. Katie Nicholl, of Vanity Fair UK, explained True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat that they would be leaving the celebrations precisely for the positions intended for them during the Jubilee, certainly not in the front row. Historian Hugo Vickers added: “I think Harry felt absolutely depressed about what he left behind as he had to drop out of his military ranks.”
