Harvard processes Trump government by ban on foreign students

Harvard University is opening a new front in its judicial battle against the Trump administration, with a lawsuit in a Federal Court on Friday (23) in response to the government’s decision to revoke the permission of the higher education institution to enroll international students.

The complaint made by the country’s oldest and oldest higher education institution argues that Thursday’s decision (22) to remove the institution from the student and exchange visitors from the Internal Security Department violates the law.

“This is the government’s latest act in clear retaliation to the fact that Harvard exercises his rights guaranteed by the first amendment, rejecting government demands to control the governance, curriculum and ‘ideology’ of his faculty and students,” according to a copy of Harvard’s complaint.

Harvard is asking a judge to immediately block the order of internal security secretary Kristi Noem.
