The Russian Haval plant in the Tula Region switched to a two-shift operation this fall, which had a positive effect on the availability of the corresponding vehicles from Russian dealers. Now there will be even more Haval cars in Russia.
Jérôme Sego, Executive Director of Hawail Motor Rus, confirmed in an interview with Avtostat that the Russian Haval plant is preparing to introduce additional work shifts in accordance with the company’s development strategy to meet the growing demand, which continues to grow. Jérôme Sego added that the New Year holidays for Haval employees will last from December 31 to January 9 inclusive, according to the production calendar.
Today, the Haval lineup in the Russian market includes the F7 and F7x crossovers, the H9 frame SUV and the new Haval Jolion compact crossover, which are manufactured at the company’s plant in the Tula region. Haval Jolion set an absolute record for Chinese cars in Russia in November: 2340 cars were sold in a month.
At the end of eleven months of 2021, Russian dealers of Haval sold 34,765 vehicles, which is 2.3 times more than last year. As a result, Haval remains the leader among Chinese automakers in Russia.
This week it became known that a new Haval Shenshou was released in China, and the hybrid Haval Jolion began to be sold outside of China.
