However, sometimes adverse situations arise, in which having to say goodbye to that faithful friend is imminent. Just like it happened to Nicole and her dog Chloe, but fate had an incredible surprise in store for them.

Nicole Grimes was 10 years old when her grandmother gave her a puppy that she decided to name “Chloe”. Everything was happiness, Chloe was a cheerful and loving dog, but four years later, a difficult family situation made Chloe have to leave her home.

Nicole’s dad got a new customer service phone job, a job he did out of his home in Marianna, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, Chloe barked a lot and that put her father’s job in jeopardy.

Nicole understood that getting rid of Chloe had also been difficult for her parents, so getting upset with them was not an option, but it was inevitable not to feel sad after losing the pet she loved so much. Years passed and Nicole never stopped thinking about Chloe, even she and her mom talked about her often.

At the age of 21, Nicole started a family, made up of her husband and four-month-old daughter. The three of them live in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, about a half hour from where she grew up.

However, the story that seems to be taken from a fairy tale began when Nicole began to contemplate the possibility of adopting a dog by the time her little daughter turned one year old.

One of his friends on Facebook posted photos of an elderly puppy, whom he was looking to relocate. The little gray dog ​​looked a lot like his childhood pet.

It just reminded me of my old dog. So I decided to take her.

The name of the new member of the family would also be Chloe. However, that would not be the only similarity.

This Chloe was 11 years old, which is the age that the endearing Chloe would have been from Nicole’s childhood. The “two Chloes” acted the same, enjoying lots of kissing and enjoying incredible energy.

The only difference is that this Chloe is smaller and has no teeth.

Then Nicole knew in her heart that it was her beloved Chloe, that dog that she had to abandon when she was a child.

The reunion between the inseparable childhood friends was especially moving for Nicole because her grandmother, who gave Chloe to her, had passed away three years earlier.

Fortunately, the years before the reunion were good for the dog. Chloe spent most of their seven years apart living with an elderly couple. When they passed away, she went to live with a neighbor, a friend of Nicole’s on Facebook.
