Two fines in less than an hour were imposed on an 85-year-old Italian who violated it lockdown in order to meet… prostitutes. In fact, he justified himself to the police, saying that it was the fault of the vaccine against the coronavirus that launched his erotic mood.
The elderly man, whose name has not been released, was fined 1,000 euros for the double offense in the Italian city of Empoli, in the midst of a pandemic.
“It’s the coronavirus vaccine, it makes me more sexually capable”, he told the police, according to reports in the international press. “Anyway, the fine is money spent for a good cause”.
Officer Sigismondo Lettieri said: “He was initially stopped early in the morning after being seen entering a caravan parked near the beach known to be used by prostitutes.
He was told he was violating the restrictions on her Covid-19 and was fined 500 euros. “He was released but stopped again in less than an hour below in another caravan used by prostitutes and was fined another 500 euros.”
“The police realized that it was his second fine and were surprised when he told them that the coronavirus vaccine was to blame. “His answer caused surprise and laughter to the police, but he was fined again,” he added.
The traffic ban in the country is valid from 10:00 pm to 5 am, with the exception of those who work or emergencies.
