A night out had a tragic end for a man in South Africaas in the bar he visited, he drank a whole one bottle from drink Jaegermeister within two minutes and after a while passed away.
According to dailymail.co.ukthe incident occurred at Mashamba village in the Limpopo region, when the male about 25 to 30 years oldtook part in a challenge, which was who could drink a bottle of Jaegermeister fasterwith the prize to be the amount of 12 euros about.
Pictures that have been leaked on social media show the man drinking the drink with the crowd around him cheering and cheering him on. After it’s over, he starts to feel dizzy and wobbly, while supporting him so that a friend of his doesn’t fall.
Reports indicate that the man collapsed after a while and that he died of alcohol poisoning.
Characteristically, Limpopo police spokesperson Brig Motlafela Mojapelo said that “Police in Waterval outside Louis Trichardt are investigating a case following an incident of alcohol abuse that took place at one of the local liquor stores in Mashumba Village where the patrons participated in what they call a ‘drinking contest’.
“The winner had to consume an entire bottle of Jägermeister, within a set time frame, and would get R200 cash (about €12),” he then said, adding that “one of them collapsed immediately then and he was taken to the local clinic where he was pronounced dead».
