A woman from Texas found love in the face of one imprisoned while he was in a US prison, with her waiting for his release for months, until they joined his bonds marriage and now they live happily together.

According to her, she met him Husband of 26 years to Austin Saunders in late 2020 when she was trying to sell a house. One day received a phone call from him, who was asking for information about the lodge, without revealing any details about his life. During the call an automated voice was heard saying “you have one more minute”, with him promising to call her back.

At June 9, 2021 Austin was released from prison and met Erica for the first time outside of prison, as she was the only person waiting for him. Then they started dating, until now the 26-year-old proposed marriage to the 29-year-old.

Initially, her family disagreed with this relationship, let alone marriage, stressing that the man was using her and calling him a criminal. However, she had a different opinion, especially since Austin met her 10-year-old daughter – whom he has from another relationship – as they immediately developed a very good rapport.

So, on December 27, 2021that is six months after release from prisonthe wedding took place, with the 26-year-old’s family and the 29-year-old’s friends as guests, because as she said “something happened and my family didn’t have time to come”.

“I was a bit negatively charged as I didn’t have any of my family by my side because they didn’t make it at the last minute,” he said afterward, noting that “it was just his side there, but his family is now mine and everyone has been so welcoming. I also had some of my best friends growing up next to me and that helped as well.”
