A man committed a murder out of fear of being called a psychopath, so he wanted to ‘lead by example’ in a tragic way. 51-year-old Travis Lee Merrill was working at the Allegiance Trucks offices in Louisville, Texas, when he became obsessed with co-worker Tamhara Collazo. According to Toofab, the man kept a minute-by-minute record of her breaks, what she did during them, and even what she ate. He gradually started sending a barrage of e-mails with remarks, with the woman ignoring them, until he started verbal confrontations with her. Collazo then complained to the Human Resources Department and Merrill was allowed to go home to calm down.
