A man awaiting trial for the murder of his girlfriend, whom he then buried in a makeshift grave inside his home, has been remanded in custody. According to a Toofab report, 29-year-old Alexis Schuler, a mother of three, went missing on January 10 and four days later her mother notified the police. Investigations revealed that she was last seen in public when she got into the van of her 30-year-old partner, Devontae Gray, to return home from a night out. With this information, on January 18, the police went with a warrant to check the premises. Officers then discovered plasterboard under the interior stairs, which were oddly placed. Pulling one of them, a leg stuck out, as there the woman was buried, in straw and dirt that had been placed in the makeshift grave.
