A Chinese man was arrested for selling his child and using the money to go on holiday with his new partner.
The perpetrator, whom the Chinese authorities simply refer to as Xie, had won diligence of the 2-year-old boy after the divorce with his wife, who kept their daughter.
The father left the baby boy, Jiajia, in the hands of his brother, Lin, to go to work in another city.
Returning, Xie picked up the boy, telling his brother he would go see his mom. But Lin did not believe him and learned that the former spouse never saw the child.
Xie did not answer, so Lin alerted police on April 22. Authorities located the boy living with his new family, a childless couple, who bought the child for $ 25,000.
Xie took a lot of pictures with them banknotes, pretending to be rich. And then he financed with them the trip he went with his new partner.
The police returned the boy to his uncle…
