He stabbed his brother to death in a dispute over who would take the dog for a walk

The details of a murder in Great Britain are shocking, as they are heard in the courtroom. A man is being tried in a Newcastle court stabbed until the death of his brother in the middle of a drunken quarrel and as their mother was trying to settle the dispute that started over who had the turn to take him for a walk dog of the family.

Samuel Campbell, 24, died of a stab wound to the chest during a fight with his brother William in June. The brothers were in the garden of their mother’s house, where Samuel was drinking bourbon and listening to music by the fireplace with his dog Marley.

The jurors heard that the victim, who “disapproved” of Samuel’s lack of full-time work, asked his brother not to load the dog’s walks on their mother and to do it himself.

Their mother came down to separate them and saw one of her children stabbed

Caroline Campbell’s mother heard voices inside the house in Silksworth, Sunderland, and went downstairs to tell them to calm down so as not to disturb the neighbors. The quarrel and quarrel continued and Campbell, now 26, took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his younger brother in the garden.

Prosecutor Toby Hedworth told the court that Ms Campbell woke up to the sound of her sons’ voices and said: “He got up and went downstairs and told them to calm down because they would be disturbing the neighbors.

“There was a fight that the mother broke up. Samuel said something, according to his mother, and went out with the dog. Defendant sat on the couch and said he had just told his brother not to talk to the dog the way he did. “Then his mother noted that the accused was a little disappointed and said ‘I’m getting a knife.’

When Campbell was arrested, he told a police officer at the scene, “I stabbed him in a rage,” and later said, “I deserve to die.”

In a statement to the court, he said: “I admit that I stabbed my brother. I did not intend to kill him or cause him any serious harm. I just wanted to defend myself against what I perceived as a serious physical threat to me. After stabbing him, he stumbled into the garden for a while and then fell to the ground. I tried to resuscitate him. “I’m completely devastated by what happened. I can not believe it.”
