A former US Navy officer killed his wife when he caught her cheating on him.
She hid her body in freezer for 2 whole years, before dumping her body in the San Diego Sea.
Matthew Sullivan almost saved her from the murder of Elizabeth Sullivan’s wife. However, he was recently sentenced to at least 16 years in prison when court he was found guilty of murder last year.
Sullivan continues to plead not guilty to the murder of his 32-year-old wife, whom he stabbed in their home in October 2014.
The 36-year-old was found guilty just last year. And on Friday he heard his sentence, through Supreme Court Justice Albert Harutunian III:
“Matthew Sullivan brutally killed his wife, methodically cleaned the blood-stained crime scene and then hid her body for years. And he almost saved her, but his last attempt to hide it corpse at the bottom of the sea it failed “.
Elizabeth, a mother of two, mysteriously disappeared that October. Her husband stabbed her 5 times when she learned that she was cheating on him. Their children were in the next room.
She then hid her body in the freezer and left it there for 2 years, when she was forced to find a permanent solution as she planned to move to the east coast.
It was 2016 when he dumped the body in San Diego Bay. Two years later, the 36-year-old was arrested. He now lived in Delaware…
