Students protesting in favor of Palestine at Columbia University have occupied the 1907 academic building, Hamilton Hall, located in the Morningside Heights of the Manhattan campus, and the university is threatening to expel them. Students who occupied the building face the risk of expulsion,” Columbia spokesman Ben Chang said in a statement. “We said clearly yesterday that the functioning of the university cannot be permanently disrupted by protesters breaking the rules.
