The story of Li Jingwei from China, who was abducted when he was 4 years old and reunited with his biological mother after 33 years, thanks to a map of his village, as he drew it from memory.
According to a BBC report, Li Jingwei was just 4 years old when he was abducted from his home and sold by a child trafficking ring.
On December 24, Li Jingwei uploaded the sketch of his village to a Chinese application, as he remembered it, and police managed to “match” it with a small village, where a woman had declared her son missing. After a DNA test, it turned out that he was indeed her son and the two were reunited after 33 years in Yunnan last Saturday.
In the emotional video, published by the Daily Mail, Jingwei takes off the mask for the coronavirus that his mother wears, to see her face well and then she bursts into tears and takes her in her arms.
Jingwei was abducted in 1989 and then sold to a family living 1,800 km away. He thought he could not find his biological parents today after so many years and so he turned to the internet and was finally vindicated!
