THE TikTokers Adam Powiss was fired from a British chain of stores, but before he left for good he decided to get his revenge. In a TikTok video, which reportedly garnered 180,000 likes before his account was taken down, the former employee picked up the phone, which is connected to the store’s speakers, and made an announcement.

“This is an announcement for customers: I’ve just been made redundant and at B&Q it’s m@@@, c@@@ everyone. Have a nice day,” said the 18-year-old, addressing the crowd in the store.

The original video, according to Kennedy News, had this comment: “I got fired so I went out in style.”

The Bristol-based TikToker has now been banned from entering any of the chain’s stores in the Britain, according to the New York Post. However, although he says he doesn’t care because he “doesn’t shop there regularly anyway”, he admitted he regrets some of his last words.

“I was leaving and I thought it would be funny, so I acted a bit silly. I didn’t think much of it,” he said. He attributed everything that was done to a mistake at work, the fact that he was vaping beyond the designated smoking area. She believes that those in charge were excessive when they decided on her dismissal of.

“I don’t think I deserved it because others have done worse and not been fired,” he said in annoyance. “I liked the job. I was good at it and was never late. I wouldn’t talk bad about the company but I felt they treated me differently.”

Comments on his story “rained down”, with some joking and others criticizing him for his act.

“Was that your answer? Then you justify the reason you were fired,” someone commented. “His component goes,” was another comment.

“Always wanted to do this,” remarked another.

“You should have said everything is free for five minutes,” joked one commenter.

“I understand the criticism, but a joke is a joke and you can either get promoted by it or not. I didn’t get any reaction after that and thought it was funny to put it on TikTok. I didn’t expect so many to say it’s fake, but the entry ban proves it,” Powiss replied.

“I probably shouldn’t have done it, but it happened. I regret it a bit. Not about what I said, but more about my future jobs,” he concluded.
