Donald Trump issued a statement following the shooting at his rally in Pennsylvania. The former president and current candidate said he was “shot in the upper part of my right ear and there was a lot of bleeding.” In the post on his social media site, Truth Social, he thanked the secret services and police authorities for their “quick response”. “Most importantly, I want to express my condolences to the family of the person who was at the rally who was killed, as well as to the family of another person who was seriously injured,” he added.
