What a scare the people from Monterrey got when they ran into a man who was walking through the streets of the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, in Mexico, wearing the costume of Michael Myers. The peculiar image was shared by the Twitter user Buck Fuddy.
Perhaps, some of the passers-by did not know the famous character himself, but in any case, his mere presence must have inspired a mixture of curiosity, concern and fear, since it seems that the man was carrying a huge ice pick in his hand, reason enough to run away when you see it.
If by any chance you don’t know who Michael Myers is, he is a fictional figure, protagonist of the film series Halloween, that at the age of six he sacrificed his first victim, who was his own sister, so that from that moment Michael was kept under the protection of a psychiatric clinic.
Years later and as an adult, Myers managed to escape, coincidentally on a Halloween night, which allowed him to go unnoticed among the rest of the people who were disguised. During the journey to the house where he had lived as a child, the man was killing everyone he found in his path.
In fact, the film Halloween: The Final Night It is currently on movie billboards around the world, so Monterrey’s Michael Myers seemed to be part of some marketing campaign for the film.
Neighbors around the Instituto Regiomontano Cumbres called the police, because it was super strange to see it. In addition, they did not doubt that the man could represent a real danger, so the police went to the scene and managed to arrest him.
After questioning him, they discovered that he was a 19-year-old boy with autism, who decided to leave his house in disguise. With the data that the boy provided to the agents, they managed to locate his address and back to his mother.
The lady thanked the officers for taking her son home, because she did not realize that the boy had gone out into the street with such a costume.

Fortunately, everything was a scare, although we cannot deny that if we were to come across it on the streets we frequent, we would not hesitate to run away, just in case.
