A lawmaker from Washington finally apologized on Thursday after at least one particular protest against restrictive measures of coronavirus.

Republican Jim Walsh was sharply criticized for giving the yellow star on Saturday, recalling the days when Nazi forced Jewish citizens to wear it on the lapel.

He went out to protest against the coronavirus wearing a Star of David

“This move went a long way,” he said in a radio interview Jim Walsh, “It was unacceptable and offensive and I’m really sorry it happened and I was part of it.”

However, his apology was described by some circles as an “asshole”, as the Republican spent the whole last week strongly supporting his action.

But now he picks them up saying that “these images are very powerful and can not be used effectively to make such statements”…
