A father from California has been accused of trying to kill his estranged wife with two kitchen knives while their son was playing American football.
Police say Russell Husges, 43, chased his mother, who had issued precautionary measures against him, with stab in hand, running across the field.
According to the report of the local station KTLA, it was the 9-year-old son who warned his mother that the father “is coming running from the other side of the field” with big knives in his hands, according to the police announcement.
