According to the head of the department, now legal miners in the country are faced with the fact that they are forced to sell cryptocurrencies either to “someone” or on foreign sites, since there is no understandable mechanism for the implementation of digital assets.
“From the point of view of development, of course, it is still very important that the people who are engaged in this have the companies who are engaged in this, transparent, understandable infrastructure, what to do with this prayed currency. There must be some kind of infrastructure in Russia, so that, if they are legally smeared, they can legally sell it, ”said Egorov.
He noted that the development of infrastructure for the sale of cryptocurrency depends on what position the Bank of Russia will take on this issue.
“If we allowed this to do this, it would be strange after that to say that you can’t do anything with the mined. Still, you need to be consistent, ”Yegorov added.
In April, the Federal Tax Service launched the taxpayer’s personal account of the online reporting on the received digital assets, where the price is calculated according to the information of foreign trading organizers-large international cryptocurrency exchanges.
Earlier, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025, the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy Evgeny Grabchak said that for some miners new tariffs for electricity on the basis of “Beri or Pay” with payment of pre -agreed volumes, regardless of their actual consumption, can be introduced.
