Health offers an alternative to proof of vaccination: state app or return to the clinic

The Ministry of Health has not yet resumed proof of vaccination services after a cyber attack (recovery is scheduled for “next week”).

Alternatively, they provide guidance for anyone wishing to issue proof of temporary Covid-19 vaccination card.

According to the folder, Brazilians should look for the health center where they received the first or second dose, or seek validation through the applications that some states and municipalities make available.

This means that while the services of proof of vaccination are not resumed, citizens have two options: return to the UBS that took the vaccine and request the issuance of a second copy of the National Vaccination Card or access apps that perform this type of function.

The states and municipalities that have their own applications for issuing the digital Vaccination Certificate are: Espírito Santo; Mato Grosso do Sul; Large northern river; São Paulo; Curitiba; Savior. To access the apps, just click on the links.

On Friday (10), the Ministry of Health website (www.saude.gov.br/) suffered a hacker attack and was down. According to the message posted on the address, “internal data from the systems were copied and deleted”. All portals in the folder, such as “ConecteSUS” and “Portal Covid” are also affected.

In a statement, the MS informed “that it is acting with maximum agility to re-establish the systems that were temporarily compromised by the attack caused in the early hours of this Friday (10). Several systems have already been re-established and the expectation is that the other systems will be available to the population next week”.
