Film distributor Sony Pictures released this Tuesday (7) the trailer for the new horror comedy film titled “Heart Eyes”. The feature film stars the actress Olivia Holt (“Cruel Summer”, “The Wasabi Warriors”) and has producers of the films “Scream” and “Death Gives You Congratulations” in the team.
With a hint of humor, “Heart Eyes” promises to explore the slasher subgenre of horror in cinema. This typically features a psychopathic killer who violently kills a number of the cast.
The production’s plot features the killer called Heart Eyes chasing and murdering a series of couples celebrating Valentine’s Day, a date that symbolizes Valentine’s Day, celebrated in the United States on February 14th.
In addition to Holt, the film also has names such as Mason Gooding (fifth and sixth film in the “Scream” saga), Gigi Zumbado (“The Price We Pay”), Michaela Watkins (“Painful Truths”) and Devon Sawa (“Premonition”).
The trailer is also accompanied by a version of the classic song “I Love You Baby”, by Frank Sinastra.
