The new season of “Heartstopper” will feature three new cast members, as Netflix announced this Thursday (25).
Eddie Marsan (“Back to Black” and “Ray Donovan”), Hayley Atwell (“Mission: Impossible – Reckoning Part 1” and “Captain America: The First Avenger”) and Jonathan Bailey (“Fellow Travelers” and “ Bridgerton”) join the group, which stars Joe Locke and Kit Connor.
The news was celebrated by Alice Oseman, creator of the series, who explained where each of them will fit into the story of the teenage couple.
See below:
- Eddie Marsan will play Geoff, Charlie's therapist;
- Hayley Atwell will play Diane, the aunt who takes Nick on holiday in Menorca;
- Jonathan Bailey will play Jack Madoox, a famous writer who Charile has a crush on.
“It was an absolute joy to see the talent of Hayley, Eddie and Jonathan alongside our cast, and I can't wait for 'Heartstopper' fans to meet these new characters,” said the writer of the comics that gave rise to the series.
