One of the most promising actors of the 2000s would have turned 45 this Thursday, April 4th. Heath Ledger he died in January 2008, aged just 29 and at the height of his career.

Even with his early death, the Australian actor left his mark in cinema, starring in hits of the most diverse genres.

He even won a posthumous Oscar for his iconic portrayal of the Joker in “Batman the dark knight” (2008).
